Upon arrival at Bagdogra airport our representative will welcome you and assist you to get transferred to Darjeeling hotel. Darjeeling is approximately 105 kms and it may take 3 hours to reach. Darjeeling is the land of panoramic beauty and it is rewarded by the majestic Himalayas and known as the Queens of Hill stations. The Darjeeling Himalayan Railways is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After reaching Darjeeling, check in to the hotel. Rest of the day is free on leisure or you can visit the nearby areas and meet the local people while shopping. Overnight stay at the hotel in Darjeeling.
Today early in the morning, proceed towards the Tiger Hill, this is the highest point of Darjeeling. You can view the sunrise of the Kanchenjunga and the snowcapped peaks. On the way you can visit the Ghoom Monastery. This monastery was established in 1875 by Ghoom Gompa. Back to hotel for breakfast and rest for a while in the hotel. Later plan visit to the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoo. Then visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (HMI), it is built in the memorial to Tenzing. You can also enjoy the breathtaking views of landscapes in the Darjeeling Ropeway. One need to visit the Peace Pagoda, it was built under the supervision of Nichidatsu Fujji where you will find the four avatars of Lord Budda. Then visit Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center, this was built in 1959 for the rehabilitation of Tibetans. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Early in the morning drive to Kalimpong, located at an altitude of 1,250 meters. It is cuddle in the lush green ranges of the Himalayas and snow covered peaks. Kalimpong is well known for the educational institutions. Upon reaching Kalimpong, check-in the hotel and rest for a while and set out for the sightseeing. Visit Deolo Hill, this hill is the highest point of Kalimpong town, 1,704 meter above the sea level. You can view the panoramic views of Kanchenjunga, Kalimpong Township and Durpin hill from this point. You can visit to the Dr.Graham’s Homes and Army Glod club, which is a beautiful golf course. You can have a beautiful view of the mountains from here. Visit the Pine view nursery, it has a great collection of ornamental and cactus plants. After breakfast in the morning, start journey to Gangtok. The capital of Sikkim is the popular tourist spot for nature lovers, honeymooners and trekkers. It is at an altitude of 5500 ft. from where you can view the Mt. Khangchendzonga. Here you can enjoy the beautiful, calm and panoramic views. Upon arrival check-in to the hotel and rest for a while then start sightseeing tour of Gangtok. You can visit the Directorate of handicraft and handloom, the museum of many different handicrafts that are created by the local craftsmen. Visit Namgyal Institute of Tibet-ology is one of the renowned global centers for the study of Buddhist philosophy. One must visit the Enchey Monastery. Then visit the famous Orchid Sanctuary where you will find the best collection of orchids. Do Dual is the biggest stupa in Sikkim. Drive towards the White Hill, this is the permanent venue for the flower show that is held in Sikkim. In the evening visit the nearby malls for shopping and enjoy the celebration like atmosphere at the mall. Overnight stay at the hotel.
In the morning after breakfast, After breakfast Excursion trip of Tsomgo Lake (12,400-ft.)Overnight Halt in Gangtok.
Early in the morning a trip to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir. Tsomgalake is just 40 kms from Gangtok and it at the height of 3,780m. This lake is oval in shape, one kilometer in length and home for Brahminy duck and red panda. In the month of May and August you can view the various flower blooms, especially Primulas and Rhododendrons. Later you can visit the holy Baba Mandir. If possible you can make a visit to the Nathu La pass. Back to Gangtok. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Today get transferred to Bagdogra airport to board the flight for onward journey. Tour ends here with sweet memories.
